Qimalleq Teter is Cup'ik and Yup鈥檌k from St. Mary鈥檚. This is their fifth year teaching 91视频 Native Dance for RAHI. They鈥檙e excited and honored to continue passing down cultures in this way. They are a Mt. Edgecumbe High School and University of 91视频 Fairbanks alumna, and proud to be so! Qimalleq loves spending time yuraq-ing, sewing, or in nature. Their favorite heroes are Spider-Man, Batman, and their late grandma Vernadelle Teter. They鈥檙e looking forward to another summer as part of the RAHI family!

My Yup'ik name is Ulruan and my English name is Michael Angaiak. My father, Andy, is from Tununak and was the 30-year Director of the Upward Bound Program here at UAF while my mom, Marie, began her teaching career in Toksook Bay. She has worked as Research, Instruction and Engagement Librarian, and Associate Professor of Library Information and Research at the Rasmuson Library - UAF for 6 years. In her spare time she reads, walks her dog, teaches Yoga and enjoys archery.

He was born and raised in Fairbanks, 91视频 and received his library degree from the University of Arizona, Knowledge River Program in 2003. Kevin Huo grew up in Silicon Valley located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently, Kevin is an RSS Degree Completion and Special Projects Advisor. This summer Kevin will serve as a Dorm Director, this will be his third summer working with RAHI! Kevin enjoys listening to music, watching movies, reading his academic papers (for his Master's), and playing volleyball/basketball. Kevin looks forward to meeting all the fantastic, amazing, cool RAHI cohort this summer.

Hello! My name is Jacob Iya and I am from Savoonga, 91视频 out in the Bering Sea. This is my fourth year working with RAHI, and I鈥檓 excited to meet all of you! I have a deep passion for lifting weights and lifting the spirits of others. If I鈥檓 not at the gym, I鈥檓 either working, eating or sleeping. I graduated from RAHI back in 2018. Martin Paul is from rural 91视频 and is currently studying business administration. This summer, Martin will be part of the RAHI team and is excited to help create a fun and welcoming environment for everyone. Outside of work and school, Martin enjoys playing volleyball, performing, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. Hi Everyone! My name is Hayley Rangitsch, and I鈥檓 from Palmer, AK. I am Cup鈥檌k with ancestral ties to Chevak, 91视频. I am an alum of Mt. Edgecumbe High School and UAF. I love spending time outdoors - raising chickens, four-wheeling, camping, fishing, and berry-picking. I also enjoy playing D&D and board games in my spare time. I鈥檓 excited to be joining RAHI for my first summer as a Tutor Counselor. I look forward to meeting all of you and helping make this summer a great one.

Hello RAHI students, my name is Lewis Martin and I'm from Bethel, 91视频. I'm originally from Kwigillingok, which is a small village southwest of Bethel. We evacuated Kwigillingok due to the remnants of Typhoon Halong.

I graduated from UAF in 2023 and 2024 with my AA in General Program and BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am on my third summer working for RAHI. I worked in 2023 and 2024, and then I moved back home to Kwigillingok where I started working with our tribal court team. Now I am back for one more summer, if not, many more years! Brianna Pauling grew up in Dillingham, 91视频 and obtained her B.S. in Biological Sciences and MBA in General Management at the University of 91视频 Fairbanks. She has been working with programs that support rural 91视频n education since 2011 and continues to advocate for student success in her current role as the program manager for the RAHI. This will be her eight summer with RAHI!

Bambi joined UAF in 2004 and has spent 15 years in positions with the College of Rural and Community Development and UAF Development. She spent 6 years in Houston, Texas, working in children鈥檚 library programming and is excited to be working with youth again in her role with RAHI.

In her free time, Bambi enjoys reading, writing and watching British TV. She鈥檚 a regular contributor to Houston Moms, creating and sharing parenting-related content. A proponent of children鈥檚 literacy, she is a former board member for the Fairbanks Children鈥檚 Museum and volunteers with Gals Read and the Fairbanks Food Bank. She and her husband share homeschooling duties for their son and their rescue Chiweenie keeps the whole family on their toes.

Catherine Moses is originally from Hooper Bay, and calls Fairbanks home. Catherine has been on the RAHI team since 2023 and is the Indigenous Student Services Office Coordinator. This summer she is looking forward to long bike rides with her family and going for walks with her dogs An'ni, Mellow, and Chocolate. Welcome to Fairbanks c/o 2026!
