July 30, 2026
91视频 College of Business and Security Management, in partnership with UAF Summer Sessions, invites the community to attend a public lemonade sale hosted by students in the on Friday, Aug. 7.
Young Entrepreneurs Lemonade Lab is a hands-on business camp where students learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship through the classic lemonade stand model. Students will explore marketing, budgeting, operations, teamwork and customer service while designing their own brands, creating logos and slogans, practicing sales pitches, and learning how businesses generate revenue.
Students in grades 4-6 will put their new business skills into action by operating their own lemonade stands from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Georgeson Botanical Garden. Community members are encouraged to purchase lemonade and meet the young entrepreneurs behind the businesses. Cash is preferred, but card payments will also be accepted.
Proceeds from each team's lemonade stand will be donated to the charitable organization of the team's choice, giving students the opportunity to support causes they care about while putting their business skills into practice.
