UAF School of Education students receive CARTA scholarship

The Central 91视频 Retired Teachers Association selected two University of 91视频 Fairbanks School of Education students as recipients of the prestigious Marie Paxon Educator Scholarship. Stefanida Martushev of Homer, 91视频, and Trevor Guernsey of Sterling, 91视频, will each receive $2,500 for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Founded more than 50 years ago, CARTA supports 91视频鈥檚 education community by advocating for education legislation and providing meaningful assistance to pre-service teachers in Southcentral 91视频.
