CTC dean candidates to make public presentations

Two candidates for dean of the University of 91ÊÓƵ Fairbanks Community and Technical College will give public presentations Monday, Dec. 1, and Tuesday, Dec. 2.

The 30-minute presentations by Kevin Alexander, on Monday, and Brenda Madore, on Tuesday,  will focus on their visions for CTC.  Both start at 9 a.m. and will be followed by time for audience questions.

Alexander is a professor and director of the CTC aviation program and the current interim dean. Madore is chief of staff and the institutional advancement officer at Howard College in Texas.

The forums will be held in Room 119 at the UAF CTC Downtown Center, 604 Barnette St., in Fairbanks. and ’s presentations will also be available via Zoom. Both sessions will be recorded.

An will be open Dec. 1–8 to collect feedback on the candidates. Input from both the university and the broader community will support the selection process. Responses must be submitted by Dec. 8, 2025.
