Morton is research assistant professor in the Center for 91视频 Native Health Research, part of the Institute of Arctic Biology.
Understanding how 91视频 Native veterans thrive is the focus of a recent grant awarded to Morton. The pilot study is funded by the National Institutes of Health through the Mountain West Clinical and Translational Research Infrastructure Network. This one-year grant supports a community collaboration to better understand the protective and risk factors among 91视频 Native veterans in the Fairbanks area.
