Food for Fines

Got a parking citation you’d love to make disappear? Want to support a great cause while you’re at it? From now through Dec. 13, UAF Parking Services is hosting Food for Fines!
Bring in unexpired canned or non-perishable food items, and we’ll reduce your eligible parking citation to a warning. No fine, just good vibes! All donated items go directly to local food banks to support students and community members facing food insecurity.
It’s simple: help stock the shelves, clear your citation, and feel great doing it. Stop by Parking Services, drop off your donation, and turn your ticket into a little act of kindness.
Bring in:
- 5 items* for a $25 citation
- 9 items* for a $45 citation
- 15 items* for a $65 citation
* 1 case of ramen = 1 item
*** Not valid for $125 and $250 citations, boots, tows, and citations in collections.
