Interdisciplinary Graduate Degrees

Looking to build a graduate degree around your own research interests?
UAF鈥檚 interdisciplinary graduate programs allow students to combine fields of study and work across departments to create a path tailored to their academic and professional goals. Faculty from the College of Liberal Arts regularly serve on graduate committees, offering expertise in areas ranging from the humanities and social sciences to the arts, languages and interdisciplinary research. Students pursuing this route benefit from collaborative mentorship and the flexibility to explore complex topics that extend beyond a single discipline.
