POSITION OVERVIEW 

Aleut PM Holding Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support our  finance team within the construction and project management environment. This role offers hands-on  exposure to job cost accounting, project budgeting, and financial operations specific to the construction  industry. The intern will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting project-based  accounting processes, with a clear pathway for growth within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry and account reconciliations  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes  
  • Help prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and summaries  
  • Review and process invoices, expense reports, and transactions  
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities  
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation  
  • Conduct basic financial analysis and research as needed  
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and audits

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting 
  • Strong interest in construction or project-based accounting 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications 
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines 
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
