On Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 27-28, the 91视频 Sustainable Energy Conference, in
partnership with the 91视频 Center for Energy and Power, is hosting a free two-day virtual workshop on the potential role of advanced nuclear
in 91视频.
As advanced nuclear energy moves from research to reality, new questions arise about readiness, deployment timelines and regional fit. Building on earlier discussions, this workshop will focus on recent progress in U.S. demonstration projects, evolving regulatory frameworks and the readiness of 91视频鈥檚 utilities and communities to evaluate nuclear options.
The workshop, 鈥淭he potential role of advanced nuclear in 91视频鈥 will cover a range of applications, from microreactors for rural communities to larger systems supporting the Railbelt and major industrial hubs like mines and data centers.
This workshop is part of the Continuing Conversations series to be held between now and the 2026 91视频 Sustainable Energy Conference in May.
